Our Story: A Vision Rooted in Community

The journey to opening our restaurant in Reston began with a simple profound idea—an idea shaped by the philosophy of Robert Simon, whose belief in creating spaces that nurture connection and meaning has become our guiding principle. Simon’s approach to community taught us that true service goes beyond the table; it’s about crafting experiences that resonate deeply, leaving our guests feeling seen, valued, and at home.

SEVEN was designed with that vision in mind. Every detail, from the architecture to the menu, was designed to evoke a sense of belonging. We wanted to create a space where strangers become friends, where meals are not just shared but savored as moments of togetherness. To us, hospitality is not just about food or service—it’s about honoring the human need for connection and making every guest feel part of our story.

Our menu created by Chef Alexis Hernandez reflects this spirit, drawing inspiration from diverse traditions and flavors around the world that come together harmoniously. Each dish tells a story of inspiration and collaboration that invites you to slow down and celebrate the moments that bring us together.

At the heart of our approach is the belief that hospitality is an art—a practice of generosity and intention. We embrace the idea that a meal can transform a day, that a warm welcome can make someone’s world brighter, and that creating a sense of home for our guests and team is the highest purpose of what we do.

We open our door to you every day, inviting you to join us on this journey. Whether it’s a first visit or your favorite hangout our hope is that every experience feels like a return to a place where you truly belong. This is more than a restaurant—it’s a place where hospitality becomes a story shared by all who gather here.

Welcome to our table…
